Our story began in 1990 with a humble restaurant in a quiet part of Shah Alam. Serving Northern Malaysian and Thai cuisine, we soon garnered a loyal following in Shah Alam and beyond.
Two decades on, we were rebirth as Serai Group. Now with more than twenty restaurants of distinctive concepts and cuisines, we remain committed to creating memorable experiences for our customers.
The Serai Group, a Malaysian F&B company, is founded and managed by a family, with Rina Abdullah as the founder and Najib Abdul Hamid (her son-in-law) as the managing director and chef. The group operates multiple restaurants under the Serai and Jibby brands. Najib also has experience in fine dining and hospitality management, having graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Australia.
